Hogwarts Legacy– How to make money fast guide
Eye Chests
There are a few ways to make money fast inHogwarts Legacy. One, in particular, requires you to be on the lookout for strange chests. These are known as Eye Chests since they’ve got a single eyeball that watches a nearby area. If you approach, the Eye Chest will shudder and you won’t be able to access what’s inside.
However, once you acquire the Disillusionment spell at the start of theSecrets of the Restricted Section quest, you’ll be able to sneak up on these containers. In fact, one Eye Chest is in the library’s restricted area, and you’ll pass by it on your way to the objective. Simply cast Disillusionment some distance away then slowly approach it. You should get a prompt that lets you open the container. All Eye Chests contain 500 gold, so you’ll be able to make money fast inHogwarts Legacyif you know where to find them.

Selling Gear Pieces
Perhaps the most common option to make money fast inHogwarts Legacyis to just sell all your unwanted items. Most of the equipment you acquire from chests tend to be tied to your level, and they’d soon become useless regardless of their rarity. Likewise, you do get to keep their designs in case you want to use the transmogrification or appearance customization feature.
Another factor to consider is that your character’s inventory space is limited. You’ve got 20 inventory slots by default, and this amount can only be increased by completingMerlin Trials. As such, you’ll want to sell anything you don’t need to make extra dough. Otherwise, you might not even be able to pick up new gear if you’re carrying a bunch of unnecessary stuff around.
You should be able to sell stuff once you visitHogsmeade. There are several shops here that are willing to pay for your junk.
Haunted Hogsmeade Shop
Speaking of selling items, there’s another good idea, and that’s having your own shop. This gets unlocked after you complete the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest and, in turn, you’ll be able to sell items at a 10% increased rate. The only downside is that this quest is currently a PlayStation exclusive, so if you’re playing on another platform, it might not become available until much later.
Hogwarts Legacyis available viaSteam.
