Jason Stathamfans, and particularly those of his appearances in theFast & Furiousfranchise will have something to celebrate this February as several of hisFastmovies will arrive on Peacock on February 15. Along with the Statham-lessFast Five,Fast & Furious 6– which features the first brief appearance of Deckard Shaw in the saga –Furious 7, andFast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw, the spinoff that brought together Statham with Dwayne Johnson in their own story.

Fast & Furious 6sees Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto and Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner and their crew being given the chance to have their crimes wiped from the record by Johnson’s Luke Hobbs, if they help bring down an organized mercenary group led by Owen Shaw. After the events of the film play out, Statham makes his first appearance as Owen’s older brother Deckard Shaw in a post-credits scene that brings the story back to the events of 2006’sThe Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Statham really entered the franchise fully inFurious 7, when Deckard Shaw looks to avenge his brother, who was put in a coma after the events of the previous movie. By the timeThe Fate of the Furiouscame around (which will not be joining the other movies on Peacock) Statham’s Shaw was almost ready to team up for his own spinoff movie with Johnson’s Hobbs, which followed two years later in 2019. While Statham would later make a small appearance in the mid-credits scene ofF9, he returned in a more major role inFast X. Both of these movies are already streaming on Peacock.

Jason Statham Will Return for More ‘Fast & Furious’ Action

Jason Statham has established himself as a go-to star for audiences looking for big action movies that are not too taxing on the brain. WithFast XIheading into production,Statham will be returning as Deckard Shawone more time alongside the huge ensemble cast for another round of high-octane action. Although Johnson will be getting another spinoff as Hobbs, it has not been revealed whether Statham will have any part in that movie when, or if, it arrives.

Meanwhile, Statham has not been waiting around for theFast & Furiousfranchise to keep him in the public eye, as he has been working on several other movies of his own. 2024 sawThe Beekeeperdeliver a hugely successful action moviein cinemas and on streaming, and this year he is reuniting with director David Ayer forA Working Man,which will be released in theaters in March. Whatever secret sauce Statham is cooking with, he will be hoping that his new film can keep his bubbling pot simmering.

David Ayer and Jason Statham’s ‘A Working Man’ has ‘Deadpool’ creator Rob Liefeld excited, which can only mean good things for ‘Beekeeper’ fans.

Currently, it seems that fans cannot get enough of Statham, as even his older movies from the last two decades are constantly appearing in streaming charts. From panned straight action films such as The Mechanic, to his exceptional action comedy Spy, it is hard to image a time when there is not a Statham movie waiting to be rediscovered by his legion of fans.
