With less than one month left until 20th Century Fox unleashesX-Men: Apocalypsein theaters, the studio is debuting new footage left and right. Just three days after the new trailer arrived, the studio has released a new clip, along with two TV spots and new photos, includingJames McAvoyandMichael Fassbenderon the cover of Cineplex Magazine. The clip offers some intriguing details about the origins of the title villain, played byOscar Isaac. If that wasn’t enough, we also have new details about Cyclops, played byTye Sheridan.
James Marsdenoriginated theCyclopsrole in the originalX-Mentrilogy, butX-Men: Apocalypseis set in the year 1983, with a new crop of stars stepping in to play these iconic mutants at a younger age. 19-year-oldTye Sheridanis playing Cyclops, although his background with theX-Menfranchise doesn’t go too deep. The actor revealed in an interview withEntertainment Weeklythat he first discovered the franchise with 2014’sX-Men: Days of Future Past.
