Hades 2has just received its third patch. Theaction roguelikefromSupergiant Games, which launched in Early Access this past May 6th, has a new update that includes a multitude of changes and improvements. These include many enhancements tocombat, new user interface icons, Cauldron enchantments, and much more.
Hades 2 Gets Another Massive Patch
Hades 2will remain inEarly Accessat least until the end of the year, so to enjoy its version 1.0, we’ll have to wait until 2025, when it will also be released on consoles. However, the team has not set a specific date to finish the game and will release it when it’s ready.
Many patches like this one are expected to follow during early access, always based on the feedback from the first players. But the first major content update will arrive in a few months, and it will include new features, locations, enemies, and other content.

Once released, they will again release small patches based on feedback, repeating this process until they believe the game is ready.
General Gameplay Updates
Weapon Adjustments
Allweaponsreceived small adjustments to how they work. When using theWitch’s Staff, indirect damage will count to activate Serenity. Hit-stun effects during Riposte won’t affect you when using theSister Blades. The devs improved the Omega Attack tracking, slightly increased the Magick cost, and reduced max damage from the upgrade path for theUmbral Flames. And now, any Cast damage will extend the Omega Special, not just Omega Cast.

New Incantations
There are six new incantations in the Crossroads Cauldron. Here is what they do:
As we mentioned in our impressions, Hades II is a great sequel that maintains the essence and everything we loved about the first game, while also evolving the formula enough to have its own personality and feel like a true sequel.
