Level 1-1: And So The Adventure Begins
And So The Adventure Begins is the first level of the Forest Island. As with all normal levels on this island, there are six Gobbos to collect and a Crystal Door Challenge to complete at the end of the level. With this being the first level, this is also the first level with a Bonus Area.
Collect the crystals in front of you on the cobble path and make your way towards the well and collect the Gobbo on top of it. From there, jump on the box and grab the Red Crystal, slam on the Smash Box and grab the Crystals. Turn back around and jump from the well onto the platform above. you may use the tail swipe to get rid of the Jonnie Bee Goode enemy circling the platform. Stomp on the platform Jonnie Bee Goode was circling three times to trigger the Bonus Area.

Stepping into the sparkling stars will send you back to the beginning of the level with no way to return without restarting the level.
The Bonus Area contains 12 Crystals and 3 Smash Boxes containing a Life. Gather everything and walk into the Sparkles at the other end of the level to return to the beginning and carry on.

Once back at the start, you can turn to the right and grab a crystal hiding behind a rock. This is actually the Purple Crystal disguised as a regular Crystal. Head back over to the well and slam on it and fall below to the second area of the level.
You’ll fall down into a cave full of lava, fireballs and some items. To the right and left of you will be rows of three Crystals. Grab them and then grab the Blue Crystal on top of the Smash Box then Slam on it to collect some Crystals. Platform across the Lava using the moving platform, paying attention to not get hit by the fireballs leaping out of the lava. Collect the Crystals and jump along the cracked platforms quickly. You’ll return to the beginning of the level for a second time. Continue straight across the log and head through the doors to the next part of the level. Jump over the pit, being careful not to get hit by the fireball that will jump out of the lava. You’ll come across a larger lava pit with platforms for you to jump on. Cross the lava pit, collecting any Crystals along the way, including the Green Crystal atop the Cracked Platform. Grab the third Gobbo on top of the Smash Box and then slam on it to get five Crystals and head through the doors.
This is the final area of the level, signified by the Gong to the right. Ignore that for now and head straight, slamming on the two Smash Boxes in front of you to get five Crystals from each Box. Head over to the right side of the area, avoiding the Burrowing Worm circling the rock. From the rock, jump to the floating platform and get the fourth Gobbo. Jump back down and head over to the other side, approaching the Well. But be careful, a Worm In A Well will pop out. Dodge the Worm’s attack and jump in the well when it goes away.

Down the Well is another cave area with Lava Pits. Jump across the Unstable Platforms, grabbing the crystals along the way. Once on the other side, tail swipe both of the Dantinis, circling the Smash Box in the air and then jump up, grab onto the Smash Box and climb it, collecting the Yellow Crystal, the last colored Crystal. Stomp on the Box to get the fifth Gobbo and make your way back across and up the Well and open the Crystal Door in front of the Well.

Walk up to the Purple Balloon and jump, grabbing onto it. Once on the other side run to the cage and free the sixth Gobbo and grab it. Before finishing the level, turn to the rock to your right and grab the Life behind it. With that, ring the gong to end the level.

Jump back down and push the box all the way back to where it was and jump to the floating elevator-like platform where you got the Green Crystal. Slam on the Smash Boxes for some Crystals and head through the Locked Door with the Gold Key you got down below.
Jump up the Smash Boxes to the top and run around the well in a circle, grabbing the Blue Crystal and the fourth Gobbo along the way, while dodging the Worm In A Well.
When slamming the Smash Boxes, just tap the button and hold forward, and you’ll land on the box in front of you.
Head back out the doors once you’re done and take the balloon down. Head out through the doors to the left. Run up to the button and jump on it to summon an elevator platform. Jump on it and ride it to the top. Grab the Purple and Yellow Crystals on top of the Smash Boxes. Slam both of them for some crystals and then run behind the Gong and grab the key hidden behind it. Make your way back down and unlock the cage holding the fifth Gobbo. Make your way back up and head through the Crystal Door.
This Crystal Door is slightly different from the others in that it’s just a mini-game. Jump on the red button to start. This will spawn three arrow blocks that point to three wells that sheep will jump out of. Press the corresponding arrow when you see a sheep jump out. As long as you collect at least 25 of the 32 sheep, you’ll get the top reward, the sixth Gobbo. Hit the Gong to finish the level.
