Valor’s Afterglow is a multi-day World Quest that can be initiated in The Chasm Underground Mine base campone real-time day aftercompletingWherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend. To initiate it, head to the base camp and speak to Zhiqiong.
How to beat the Valor’s Afterglow World Quest
Zhiqiong will ask you to place five beacons across the Underground Mine.Follow the quest markerandinteract with the glowing Investigate spotsto place them. After, head back to Zhiqiong to report your progress.
Wait one real-time day, then head back to the base camp and speak to Jinwu. You need to look for Zhiqiong in the areas where you placed beacons on the previous day. However, you can save time by heading straight to the area circled in the image below.
Make sure to bring a battle-ready team and equip your Lumenstone Adjuvant, as there’s an Oozing Concretion in the area. You need todefeatone Rockfond Rifthound and two Rockfond Rifthound Whelps to save Zhiqiong. Once that’s done, head back to the base camp and complete the dialogue with Zhiqiong.
To continue the quest,wait one real-time day, then head back to the base camp. Speak to Jinwu to initiate the next segment. After, speak toMuningat The Chasm entrance above ground to complete the World Quest.

How to get the Valor’s Afterglow Achievement
After completing the Valor’s Afterglow World Quest, head to the area circled above, located west of The Glowing Narrows. You’ll find a recently-used camp with aglowing item on the ground. Pick it up to reveal Zhiqiong’s Letter. This will grant you the Wonders of the World Achievement calledValor’s Afterglow. Don’t forget to head back to the base camp and speak to Jinwu to let her know about the letter and put a close to this series—for now.
