These zombies spawn into the game in hordes, but sometimes, there are too many to solo. In the Halloween event, you’ll come across the Burn It Down quest that requires you to eliminate a whopping 50 infected or zombies. Here’s how to finish it safely and quickly in Escape from Tarkov.
How to Complete the Burn It Down Quest in Escape from Tarkov
To complete the Burn It Down quest, you must eliminate 50 infected on any map. Considering how frequently the zombies spawn, you won’t have problems finding them. The main problem is dealing with them… too many of them. The maps have inconsistent spawns of zombies. When you hear the zombies shouting, it means a new wave of zombies just spawned.
The zombie wave can be 15-20 zombies or even 50 or more at a time. It is inconsistent, but when you are dealing with more than 50 running at you, you need a good strategy.
You must have a decent but cheap loadout equipped for dealing with the zombies specifically. You can ignore the unfriendly PMCs because you don’t really have a choice. If you equip good weapons to fight against decently armored PMCs, you’ll struggle to deal with the zombies since you need quantity over quality when it comes to ammunition.
Semi-automatic shotguns should do the trick, preferably with eight or more shells per magazine.

The Best Spot to Eliminate Zombies in Escape from Tarkov
Since the quest can be done on any map, the best place to finish the quest and eliminate zombies is in narrow hallways with one or two openings, preferably with doors.
The perfect spots would be theoffices in Interchangeor literally thecontainment block hallway(med tents) on Labs.
In the containment block on Labs, if you stay inside the laboratory, the zombies won’t go inside. They only go up until the entrance of the room. So, the best way is to position yourself by the double-door entrance. Only one side of the door is openable, which makes it easier to funnel the zombies inside the entrance.
Keep one side of the door open and wait until the zombies go near, and blast their heads off with your shotgun when they go through.
You have a small room you can use for cover when looking straight into the hallway. This is the best spot to finish the quest and the future quest, Gloves Off, which requires shotgun headshot kills on the zombies.
When you are done, you want to use a Zagustin stim so you become immune to the virus and bleeding. Run to the nearest extraction, preferably the medical block elevator below. You just need to turn on the power and escape.
