The Ice Breaker Exotic weapon has made its return toDestiny 2alongside the launch of the Episode Revenant Act 1 season, though it comes with a few changes from its original Destiny counterpart. Here is how to get the Ice Breaker Exotic sniper rifle in Destiny 2.
How to Unlock Ice Breaker Exotic Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2
The Ice Breaker Exotic can be unlocked bycompleting the Vesper’s Host dungeon, which can only be accessed by purchasing The Final Shape + Annual Pass edition. This includes both the latest expansion and the Vesper’s Host Dungeon Key.
Players can then grab theRogue Network quest from Spider in the Last City, which will unlock the Vesper’s Host node on the Europa planet. You will also need to be at 1985 Power Level, which is the cap for all encounters for the dungeon, and make your own Fireteam, as there is no automatic matchmaking.
The Ice Breaker can drop afterdefeating the Vesper’s Host boss, The Corrupted Puppeteer,though it is not a guaranteed reward. There is a chance that it can drop, but players will have to beat the dungeon again for another chance. Players only get to finish the dungeon once per week on one character, so players can try three times per week with three characters.
