The Dark Horizon DLC inRemnant 2introduces a fresh batch of weapons, rings, relics, bosses, and quests. While the new ranged weapons are exciting, the melee options, like the Dark Matter Gauntlets, are especially worth the effort. In this guide, we have explained how to obtain the Dark Matter Gauntlets in Remnant 2.
How To Get The Dark Matter Gauntlets In Remnant 2
The Dark Matter Gauntlets in Remnant 2 can be crafted byAva McCabe NPCin Ward 13 after you bring her a material called the ‘Black Mass‘. This material or item can be awarded to you when you defeat the final boss in The Dark Horizon DLC of the game.
In addition to defeating the final boss, Alepsis-Taura, you’ll need to complete enough dungeons while playing the DLC. These dungeons contain crystals that power up Alepsis-Taura, which can vary between one or two crystals. You can spot them from a distance by the vertical beams of light shooting up into the sky.

Since the world and dungeons are randomly generated each time you start an adventure, it’s possible to get one or two dungeons with these crystals. If you’re aiming for just one, you can reroll your adventure and try again.

Interestingly, you might complete the necessary dungeons without even realizing it. This happened to me—I wasn’t focusing on the crystals, just finishing dungeons. It wasn’t until I defeated Alepsis-Taura and received the Black Mass reward that I realized I had met the requirement.
Once this requirement is complete, go to the farthest end called ‘The Convergence’, and you will find the final boss in The Dark Horizon DLC. We have a separate guide regardinghow to beat Alepsis-Taura,so if you find yourself struggling to defeat this boss, we recommend you give it a good read.
