As you playThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will find a variety of powerful weapons for Link to wield against evil. Many of them are physical weapons, such as hammers and blades. Some of them are magical or elemental. Here is our guide telling you how to get the Magic Scepter inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom– how to get the Magic Scepter
TheMagic Scepterfeatures an attack rating of seven, which makes it slightly more powerful than the very similarMagic Rod.
To get the Magic Scepter, find it in certain treasure chests. It is not commonly available, but you’re able to acquire one from the treasure chest inMayahisik Shrine. If you need a second scepter, also check a chest inRasiwak Shrine.

Mayahisik Shrineis located below theHateno Ancient Tech Lab, inRetsam Forest CaveoutsideHateno Village. See the precise location of the shrine in the above screenshot.Robbiewalks you through locating the cave that houses the shrine while he is adding theSensor+ability to your tablet. This occurs after you have completed his quests atLookout Landing. The shrine is aRauru’s Blessinglocation. You can simply step inside and walk a short distance to the end to claim any prizes.
Rasiwak Shrinewaits near the northeast corner of the map. In theDeep Akkalaregion, head just north from theAkkala Ancient Tech Lab. Descend the steep cliff to reach the beach and find the shrine in plain sight. See its precise location in the above screenshot.Partway through the shrine, you cross a large body of water using two balls and a slab.Along one side wall, a treasure chest hangs suspended by rope. Shoot it down with an arrow. Then fetch it from the water and open it on solid ground.

It’s possible you may find the Magic Scepter in chests hidden in other shrines. Thus far, I have not done so personally.
In any case, the two locations listed above should be sufficient. After you have acquired the Magic Scepter at least once, you can also purchase it from Bargainer Statues in the Depths. The statues will hand over the Magic Scepter in exchange for100 Poes. It’s not a bad deal, but you should still try to be careful with any rods you obtain.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis available for purchase from theNintendo Store.
