EA’s flawed shooter Battlefield 2042 is available on Xbox Game Pass. That’s because EA Play is a part of your subscription. Seasonal content support recentlyended earlier this year, but there’s a lot to check out in Battlefield 2042 if you haven’t jumped into the action.

Battlefield 2042 had a rocky launch in 2021, and ifSteamreviews are anything to go by, the response is still Mixed with a 57% recent rating.
“Battlefield 2042 delivers on its promises thanks to fantastic gameplay, a suite of new features and improvements, and a presentation that looks as good as it plays,” saidour review. “Unfortunately, the game falls short just as much, if not more.” The review called the Hazard Zone mode “poorly balanced” and mentioned that the “base game content will leave you wanting.” Thankfully, Battlefield Portal has helped keep the content rolling for Battlefield 2042.
