IShowSpeed’s Asia tour live stream: Updates as Speed visits Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam & more
IShowSpeed is in the middle of his big tour of Southeast Asia, having visited Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. However, after not being able to stream in Singapore as planned, he’s headed back to Cambodia.
IShowSpeed spent September doing his second big tour stream of 2024 as he documented a big tour of Asia, which started in Thailand and later moved on to the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia. He’s already broken viewership records with no signs of slowing down.
Speed, along with Daily Driven Exotics and Lazarbeam, took part in theGumball 3000 rally, a supercar trek spanning 3,000 km (1,864 miles).
The 2024 route began in Saigon, Vietnam, before going through Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia, then finally ending in Singapore less than 10 days later. The event spanned September 14-22, though the influencer has not stopped here and has continued to stream his Asia Tour.
Speed began his first stream on September 9 and went on until September 25, doing a similar tour stream as hisEurope tourback in June, whichdrew in a massive 2.5 billion views.However, he managed toset a new concurrent record, drawing over 1 million live viewers while visiting Indonesia.

First stop: Thailand
Just a few minutes into the first stream of his Asia rally, Speedlost control of a Tuk Tukand slammed into the wall of a temple.
The streamer tried his best to slow the vehicle down, asking for help in stopping it. However, he was unable to and ended up crashing into a temple. Luckily, no one got seriously injured, and Speed managed to get away with only some bruising.

During the four-hour-long stream,Speed also fell off an elephantbefore going to spar with a professional Muay Thai fighter.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Speed stream without him getting mobbed by fans on multiple occasions while walking to and from his car. Though on one occasion, it wasn’t just any regular fan rushing to meet Speed.
A local policeman had Speed and his crew pull over to the side of the road, just to get a selfie with the content creator.

Thailand day two has Speed playing with Tigers
On the next day, Speed visited a local tiger park to engage with the exotic animals. As you could imagine, it involved plenty of barking before things went south and he was rushing out of the area.
Playing with one of their toys, Speed was soon running in fear as tigers lept out of the water to get a hold of their possession. “We’re out. Get me out of this sh**” the streamer could be heard repeating after the creatures got a little too close for comfort.

Hours later, Speed was at a local beach keeping warm with some fire dancers. Essentially challenging them to get as close as possible while twirling the flames, it didn’t take long for Speed himself to catch alight.
Brushing against his shorts, Speed was briefly on fire leading to all sorts of panic. Thankfully, it was just another close call without any proper injuries sustained.

Later on in the broadcast, Speed was back in public meeting up with more fans in Thailand. One special moment in particular captured the hearts of thousands online as a deaf viewer approached the streamer.
Communicating through sign language, the fan got a brief moment on stream with her idol before he had to leave as the area was “getting too hot” from all the attention. Before driving off, however, Speed spotted her again through the window as she signed that she ‘loves’ him.

Speed heads to the Philippines
On the third day of his travels, Speed headed over to the Philippines, and his first day there was packed with hilarious and chaotic moments.
During the stream, Speed stopped by a shop that sells a variety of foods and snacks. He decided to try the popular siopao, a Filipino steamed bun with various fillings.
However, after taking his first bite, a crowd of fans gathered around him suddenly started meowing loudly. “What do you mean ‘meow meow’?” the YouTuber asked repeatedly in confusion beforesomeone jokingly told him he was eating cat meat.

“What?!” Speed exclaimed, looking horrified as he set down the siopao and spat out the food. “What the f**k are y’all talking about? Nah bro, hell nah,” the streamer said, paying for the snack. A worker and a local told him the fans were just messing with him and were referring to an urban legend that is false.
However, he wasn’t having any of it and quickly left the shop.
A clip from later on in his stream shows the influencer looking out onto the street where a crowd of eagerfans excitedly chanted his name.
“Oh my god, I’m getting chills right now,” the streamer admitted as he smiled at the throng outside. “Holy f*ck, Philippines.”

Photos and videos taken outside the venue show a huge amount of viewers gathered outside the building, blocking the sidewalk and even spilling out into the road.
The next day, Speedfaced off with the one and only Manny Pacquiao.The streamer had previously teased this match during his trip in Thailand aftersparring with a pro Muay Thai fighter,teasing that he would go toe-to-to with “one of the most famous fighters of all time.”
On September 12, Speed stepped into the ring with Pacquiao and ended up getting dropped by the boxing legend two times. The first happened when Pacquiao playfully hit the streamer on the arm with a bare fist, sending him to the floor.

Speed visits Vietnam
As part of his Southeast Asia tour, the YouTube superstar’s third stop was Vietnam, where he went viral multiple times.
During his memorable IRL stream, Speed was mobbed by a large crowd, signed a fan’s chest, wore traditional Vietnamese attire, and wasshocked when a fan gifted him his childhood photos.

Speed hops over to Cambodia
Speed arrives in Malaysia
After a short stop in Cambodia, next on his Southeast Asia tour was Malaysia. He began by exploring the streets, interacting with the locals, and as ever trying out various types of food.
This included trying the popular fruit Durian as he stood surrounded by a crowd of people, but it’s fair to say he wasn’t a fan of it and ended up giving it away.
However, he later tried Uncle Roger’s famous fried rice at one of his new Fuiyoh restaurants, and this was more to his liking. “W fried rice,” the streamer said shortly after having tasted the dish and performing one of his classic backflips. “This is good, on god. I give it a nine out of 10,” Speed added.

As Speed attempted to visit each of his planned locations, a packed crowd kept following him and chanting his name. However, this led to him getting stuck numerous times throughout the stream.
“I know y’all lit, but please just let me f**king walk. That’s all I ask,” the streamer said to his fans while trying to leave a building.
At one point he was inside a car trying to move on to his next location as the fan situation escalated further. “They are getting crazy you see, they are rocking the doors and the windows,” the driver said.
A member of his production also stated that they had broken one of his cameras, to which Speed replied: “They broke the camera too. No Bro… That’s not the way.”

Despite the issues, the stream carried on as he headed to a packed-out mall full of fans. On all five levels, they cheered his name as he walked through. “The whole fking mall dawg. What the fk,” Speed said in response.

As it turned to night in Malaysia, Speed ended the stream by heading to a race track. While there, he rode a motorcycle and hopped in the passenger seat of a car as the driver speedily drifted around the track. However, he proceeded to scream the whole way around and kept asking them to stop.

Speed lands in Indonesia
The streamer has traveled to Indonesia to carry on his Southeast Asia tour for September 18 and got off to a quick start. Speed was left in tears by the welcome fans gave him, both in person and online as he skyrocketed to1 million concurrent viewers.
In fact, Speed peaked at 1,043,028 viewers, with the stream itself racking up over 14 million views in total.

He’s even elbowing in on theTwitch livestream viewership record. Speed’s stream ranks in the top 10 on that platform, beating out 10th place holder Squeezie with 1,018,187 peak viewers.
Speed gets microphone stolen by monkey in Bali
Speed kicked off his second day in Indonesia by exploring Bali, where his viewership peaked at 805,245 viewers during this stream, making it his second biggest stream in terms of peak viewers.
While in Bali, he started off his stream by exploring a market and meeting locals.
He then moved on to a zoo, where he spent time with parrots and monkeys – one of which even stole the microphone that was clipped onto his shirt.

As he walked out, he was surprised and gifted his own custom motorcycle. At the end of the stream, he was also given a cup of “poop coffee,” also known as “Kopi Luwak”. The poop used to make the coffee comes from an Asian palm civet.
After a fan challenged Speed in a running race and lost, the fan agreed to complete the pre-determined forfeit of walking the entire distance from Bali to Jakarta. “You’ve got to do it,” the streamer told him, to which he replied: “I promise. It will take one month.”

Speed lands in Singapore but fails to stream
After traveling to Changi Airport, Speed finally made it to Singapore. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by a large crowd of fans as they followed him through the airport.

Speed initially was able to go live on YouTube briefly while visiting Singapore, but it was soon shut down.
However, despite his production team stating “We are going to stream again,” they encountered several issues involving broadcasting within the country and ended up not being able to stream again.

Despite being able to stream on YouTube again, his entire stream including his Singapore and Malaysia visits has since been removed from his channel.
Speed returns to Cambodia
With the Gumball 3000 rally being finished and Speed still being unable to stream in Singapore, the streamer decided to continue his Asia Tour by heading back to Cambodia for part 2.
The streamer kicked off his stream by sparring with a Cambodian fighter using Kun Khmer, a martial art similar to Muay Thai.
While there, he also provided an update on his attempts to try and visit Papua, a province of Indonesia that shares its island borders with the country Papua New Guinea.
“We booked two flights to Papua and they both got canceled. I hate to book it again and it gets canceled again. I just wish there was an easier way to get to Papua,” Speed said, with the trip appearing unlikely.

Simu Liu meets up with Speed in Singapore
Speed ended up heading back to Singapore where he was allowed to stream with no issues this time. Most of the stream centered around him trying various Adrenaline-fueled activities, such as surfing, and going on giant swings with his bodyguards.

Marvel star Simu Liu met up with Speed after the streamer went back to stream again in Singapore. The two exchanged congratulations on each other’s continued success.
“Dude I saw you on the swing, you looked badass as f**k,” Liu said as they warmly embraced, adding, “I’ve been following you on your trip bro how have you been? You must be so tired.”
“Congratulations on everything man, it’s crazy watching your success and everything, and the way that you’ve blown up,” the actor said before leaving Speed to it.

Speed calls Philippines return the “worst stream”
Despite being Speed’s third stream in the Philippines, he took part in all the typical events he usually does when visiting any country. This included him trying local foods, such as a pig brain, being gifted random items from fans, and racing against his bodyguard, which he won.

Speed finishes tour with millions of new subscribers
Undoubtedly the biggest moment of the trip was when the streamer managed to draw in1,043,028 live viewers during the Indonesian leg of the tour. This feat made IShowSpeedthe number-one English-speaking streamer of all time.
