Media Create Predicts Dark Souls Remastered Long-Term Success on PS4
Dark Souls Remastered debuted in first place in Japan’s weekly top 20 charts with 71,739 copies sold and beat Dark Souls II: First Sin’s lifetime sales of 67,000. This shows that it had a strong start to it’s release in the Japanese market. With this in mind, Media Create expects Dark Souls Remastered to keep up it’s momentum in the long-term, as it crushed 20,000 sales just in it’s first week.
It also needs a mention that remasters don’t usually do well in Japan, which adds further success to Dark Souls Remastered making it’s claim in the charts. However on the otherside of the spectrum, Dark Souls Remastered did not even reach the the top 60 charts on Xbox One.

Dark Souls Remastered is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It is expected to join Nintendo Switch later this summer 2018.
