Yuya Tokuda, the director ofMonster Hunter Wilds, shared alengthy messagewith fans to celebrate the game’s10 million units soldand provide a sneak peek at upcoming features that will be added through free updates.
Among the key updates the development team is working on are balance adjustments for certain weapons like the hammer, a rebalancing of mantles to make all of them viable, interface improvements, performance boosts for the PC version, the arrival of more 8-star monsters by the end of May, and more.
Fans Celebrate Weapon Customization Feature
However, one of the most celebrated features among fans is the confirmation thatweapon appearance customizationwill be added in the future—something many players have requested. This is particularly exciting as theArtian weapons, the most powerful in the game, have a design that many players feel doesn’t quite hit the mark, leading to some complaints.
Unfortunately, Tokuda didn’t provide a timeline for when this highly anticipated feature will arrive, only mentioning that it will be included in a “future update,” meaning fans will have to keep waiting and using visually unappealing weapons for now.
