If you’re feeling nostalgic for the 1980s,Netflixhas got you covered. As part of theirMilestone Movies: The Anniversary Collection, the streamer is sending over two dozen 1984 movies to Netflix-owned theaters for a limited time. The films will screen at the Paris Theater in New York, The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, and The Bay Theater in Pacific Palisades, California, throughout select dates in April and May (viaVariety). The films will also be available to stream. In January, Netflix announced its Milestones Movie Collection, which celebrates cinema turning 20 to 50 years old throughout 2024.

The curated selection of 1984 features includes something for just about everyone - whether you’re taking a trip down memory lane or watching for the first time. Among the chosen titles are 1980s staples like Eddy Murphy’sBeverly Hills Cop(a good watch ahead ofBeverly Hills Cop:Axel F,which premieres on the streamer on July 3), John Hughes' coming-of-ageSixteen Candles, and the Kevin Bacon-ledFootloose. There’s also an opportunity to check out Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan’s first feature role inIndiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, where the actor famously portrayed Short Round when he was just 12. Horror fans, meanwhile, are sure to enjoy a rewatch (or two) of horror legend Robert Englund’s first go-around as Freddy Krueger in Wes Craven’sNightmare on Elm Street.
