There’s great news for fans of thePokemonfranchiseas details of a newPokemongame have leaked online.
Reputable leaker ‘Khu’, has dropped what could be a massive hint, thatPokemon Scarlet and VioletDLC will connect to the next mainline game via a specific character and lore. Now given that the next mainline title is some time away and fans of the franchise are still awaiting the ‘Hidden Treasure of Area ZeroDLC’, this is a huge development.
NewPokemonGame : What do we know so far?
For those not in the know, ‘Khu’, is seen as the most trustworthy of leaked sources in thePokemoncommunity. We should advise that there is no confirmation as yet on the newPokemongame but Khu has previously provided details onPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Scarlet and VioletandBrilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

New Pokemon Game: Solving the Khu riddle
And it was on Twitter via the handle@Riddler_Khuthat they posted the above image;
Looking at the post, it doesn’t give much away and Khu certainly likes a riddle. He had this to say;
“One of them grasps the key of the lore, not Lacey, and it’s a big spoiler for the next game after sudachi, which?”
So what we can gather from this is that one of the characters fromPokemon Scarlet and Violetis linked to the lore referred earlier and it’s a massive spoiler for the next mainline game. Also this is after sudachi, which if you didn’t know, is the code name for the DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Now there are certain ways we can look at this. One of which would be thatPokemon Scarlet and Violetaren’t fully complete which was suggested byPokemonleak aggregate account, Centro Leaks. They went on to say that the next games could be actual sequels toPokemon Scarlet and Violet, much likeBlack 2 and White 2.And that the lore connection mentioned by Khu could mean that, in their opinion, the next game wouldn’t be a remake or indeed aLegends: Arceusstyle game.
But before you read too much into that suggestion, Khu has been quick to dismiss this interpretation as wrong.

Another way to look at this is with looking at the image itself. Some suggestions have been to look at the two characters on the bottom left, as their colour scheme and clothing draws similarities to Johto. And withPokemon Gold and Silverdue to celebrate their 25 Anniversary in 2024 ,there is further suggestion that another remake ofPokemon Gold and Silvercould be possible.
Obviously it is currently a waiting game for fans but there is hope that when the DLC drops, further clues will be released regarding the newPokemongame.
