The aforementioned source reports that Nexon is developing a newMMORPGin the world ofGame of Thrones, after releasing The Finals, Warhaven, Kartrider, and many others.

The game would be set in the North, specifically Winterfell and The Wall. Redanian assures that chronologically, it has a story between Seasons 4 and 5 ofGame of Thrones.

Players will interact with these and other characters, but the original cast will not be there for the dubbing. Instead, other actors will attempt to make it similar; although all of this could change.

“As far as we understand, the as-yet-unnamed game has a story campaign, but it’s online,” they say atRedanian Intelligence. Players will be able to choose between a male or female character, but the discarded one will appear in the adventure; similar toMass Effect: Andromeda.

The Game Would Be Set In Winterfell & The Wall

The project bears some resemblance toThe Elder Scrolls Online, but the information they have doesn’t provide enough details to specify what exactly; besides what has already been mentioned.

Game of Throneshas a new opportunity in video games. The protagonist is a new character with problems to solve, and its release date would be 2025 or 2026, though it’s not certain. The source reminds us that there was already aGame of Thrones MMORPG called ‘Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms,‘but it was canceled.
