InPokemon Go, you’ll be leveling up as you earn experience points (EXP). Each level shows all other players your experience with the game, and each level also rewards you with fantastic rewards. It’s always exciting to see what goodies are waiting in store for you, and it’s also good to know how much EXP you need to hit the next level. Here is the complete list of all 50 levels, their rewards, and how to reach them in Pokemon Go.
How to get EXP in Pokemon Go
To level up in Pokemon Go, you need to get EXP. You get EXP for all of the following actions:
So, pretty much every action imaginable in Pokemon Go will net you experience, so simply play the game to the fullest to level up faster!
Excellent throws, becoming best friends with another trainer, and completing legendary raids are the best sources of EXP, but you’ll only have to worry about those much later in the game.

Below are all 50 levels in Pokemon Go, alongside how you get to each level. Upon release, level 40 was the maximum; however, in the 2020 Pokemon Go Beyond update, the max was increased to 50. The ten levels between 40 and 50 have extra requirements!
Levels 1 to 40 in Pokemon Go
Levels 1 to 40 simply require you to reach EXP thresholds. Below lists the EXP you need to gain to reach that level, then the total amount of EXP you would have accumulated, and then the rewards for reaching it. Some level unlock game features, which are also listed if applicable.

Levels 41 to 50 in Pokemon Go
These levels require you to complete tasks as well as reach EXP thresholds. Bear in mind that these tasks are exceptionally difficult, but if you’ve gotten this far, they shouldn’t scare you off.
Need 6,000,000 EXP. Will have 26,000,000 EXP. Will get 20 Ultra Balls, 20 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, 20 Razz Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy.
Tasks needed:
Need 7,500,000 EXP. Will have 33,500,000 EXP. Will get 20 Ultra Balls, 20 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, 20 Nanab Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy.
Need 9,000,000 EXP. Will have 42,500,000 EXP. Will get 20 Ultra Balls, 20 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, 20 Silver Pinap Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy. Will unlock Level 43 Pose, Level 43 Research.
Need 11,000,000 EXP. Will have 53,500,000 EXP. Will get 20 Ultra Balls, 20 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, 20 Razz Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy.
Need 13,000,000 EXP. Will have 66,500,000 EXP. Will get 40 Ultra Balls, 40 Max Revives, 2 Lucky Egger, 2 Incense, 2 Lure Modules, 1 Elite Charge TM, 1 XL Rare Candy. Will unlock Level 45 Hat, Level 45 Research.

Need 15,500,000 EXP. Will have 82,000,000 EXP. Will get 30 Ultra Balls, 25 Max Potions, 20 Max Revives, 25 Razz Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy.
Need 18,000,000 EXP. Will have 100,000,000 EXP. Will get 30 Ultra Balls, 25 Max Potions, 20 Max Revives, 25 Nanab Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy. Will unlock Level 47 Pose.
Need 21,000,000 EXP. Will have 121,000,000 EXP. Will get 30 Ultra Balls, 25 Max Potions, 20 Max Revives, 15 Silver Pinap Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy. Will unlock Level 48 Research.
Need 25,000,000 EXP. Will have 146,000,000 EXP. Will get 30 Ultra Balls, 25 Max Potions, 20 Max Revives, 25 Pinap Berries, 1 Incubator, 1 Premium Battle Pass, 1 XL Rare Candy. Will unlock Level 49 Boots.
Need 30,000,000 EXP. Will have 176,000,000 EXP. Will get 50 Ultra Balls, 50 Max Potions, 5 Lucky Eggs, 5 Super-Incubators, 5 Incenses, 5 Lure Modules, 1 Elite Charge TM. Will unlock Level 50 Jacket, Level 50 Research.
