Believe it or not, it’s already been three months since the April 2Nintendo Direct, which gave us an in-depth look at the Nintendo Switch 2 and its upcoming games.

Since then, Nintendo has focused on smaller showcases for titles likeMario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, but fans agree—it’s time for a new full-fledged Direct.

Fortunately, it looks like the wait won’t be long. The next presentation is expected very soon, withSilksongpositioned as one of its main highlights.

Insider Hints at Imminent Reveal

A new leak from insiderJohn Harkersuggests that Nintendo’s next big event is indeed scheduled for the coming weeks.

When asked about the timing of the next Direct, Harker responded that “we won’t have to wait long.” His comments were shared via theSwitch 2 Stocks Alertsaccount.

While Harker is usually more focused on Ubisoft, he has previously leaked accurate information about the Nintendo Switch 2.

Some are even pointing to a possible date for the next Direct: mid-July, specifically the week of July 14–20.

A prime candidate is Thursday, July 17, which coincides with the launch ofDonkey Kong Bananza. It would also be the perfect occasion for updates on some of the most anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 games.

Expected Titles

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokémon Legends: Z-Aare expected to make an appearance, along with one of the most anticipated indie sequels of all time:Silksong.

Adding to the speculation,Silksong’s Steam page has received five updates in recent days, possibly hinting at an imminent reveal.
