As promised, Siege of Orison is back again inStar CitizenAlpha 3.21.1, and it does have some improvements compared to the vanilla version, though you might still face some game-breaking bugs that force you to change servers, which is quite usual for the community.
RELATED:Star Citizen 3.21.1: How To Get & Complete New Data Heist Missions

The entire premise of the event is almost the same as the vanilla version, but the AI is now using the improved system delivered by Alpha 3.21, which means you will have a bit tougher time. That being said, the damage rate of AI has been reduced a bit, so you don’t get killed with only a few bullets.
Starting The Event & Gathering Requirements
First, open yourMobiGlassand take a look at theGeneral tab. You should be able to see a new mission named"Priority,“which is the Siege of Orison event. Accept it and then set sail towardOrison, Crusader. If you don’t have the Priority mission available, then the Siege of Orison has concluded on that server already, but it is usually activated 1 hour after its conclusion.
Keep in mind thatthere are no weapon or armor stores at Orison, so we suggest you stop at Seraphim Station, purchase a few sets of full armor and weapons, and then bring them to Orison. Take the shuttle to Cloudview Center andset your regeneration point at Orison’s hospital, so you don’t need to travel back again after dying during the event.

Now,head to the Crusader Industries Showroomtower and use the elevators toget to the roof. Take a right after leaving the elevator and wait for the shuttle to arrive, which will take you to the Solanki Platform, the first line of engagement.
Star Citizen: How To Find Janalite
Janalite is the rarest and most expensive mineable material in Star Citizen, but if you don’t know where to look for it, we can help you out.
Kill Lieutenants & Disable Anti-Air (AA) On Each Platform
So, there are four different platforms at the event: Solanki, Brushwood, Hartmoore, and Admin Center. Each of these platforms will have its own bosses, which are referred to asNine Tails Lieutenants. Once you are on a platform, look everywhere for the lieutenant. If you get close enough to him, the lieutenant should be marked for you with a “Neutralize” icon. Keep in mind that they are much harder to kill than other Nine Tails soldiers. So, make sure you have enough ammunition.
The lieutenants wear different heavy armor compared to other Nine Tails members, which makes them easier to spot. Once a lieutenant is dead, you will need tosearch his corpse for a tablet and a code on it. This part is not necessary, as the event itself will give you the code automatically a few minutes after the lieutenant’s death. If youcheck the mission’s descriptions on your MobiGlass after killing the lieutenant, the code should appear there.

Now, your main task is tofind a big cargo container on the same platform, that has a locked door, whichcan be opened by entering the codeyou collected from the lieutenant. This cargo container could be anywhere on the platform, but it’s big enough to spot easily, andit also has big yellow ads on its sides, which makes it even easier to find.
Once you find the container, unlock it and you will spota giant spherical device inside. Click"Disable"on the screen toshut down the Anti-Air defense system. This will allow you to use all theshipsparked on that platform. If you try to fly a ship before shutting the Anti-Air down, the turrets will start shooting at you.

You need torepeat this task for two other platforms: Brushwood and Hartmoore.you may use shuttle stations to move from one platform to the other. Then, we enter the final phase of the event, which is attacking the Admin Center with ships, and killing the final boss, Mendo Ren.
Star Citizen: How To Salvage
If you’re tired of mining in Star Citizen, Salvaging is a great path. Here’s how you may do it.
Attacking The Admin Center
Unlike the initial platforms, there is no shuttle that can take you to the Admin Center, and that’s whenshipscome into play. Each platform hosts a number of Crusader ships, including C2 Hercules, A2 Hercules, Ares Ion, Ares Inferno, Mercury Star Runner, and a few Anvil C8 Pisces.
There can be two different approaches to the Admin Center, but the best method is thatAres pilots use their Viper missiles to take down all or most of the Nine Tails' Cutlass shipsin the middle of the Admin Center from a safe distance. Once they are down, you need touse A2 and C2 ships as bait to distract the turretswhile Ares fighters come and take them down. However, if you are low on crew members, you can still do it another way.

Take an Ares or a Mercury ship andfly it to the right edge of the Admin Center. The Admin Center’s platform is like a ring, with a cut part that gives it two edges. So, you need to get to the right edge when flying from Hartmoore. The outer side of the edge of the ring doesn’t have any turrets, and it is also a blind point for the opposite turrets. This makes it quite easy topark your ships on the outer side of the ring and get off.
Now, you cancircle around the ring on footto reach the three main towers. Just keep in mind thatthere are a bunch of holes on the platform, and if you fall inside, it would be really annoying to get out of them. So attempt to jump to the top of the ring from the beginning rather than staying on the sloped side.
Once you reach the main area of the Admin Center, you need tolook for Mendo Ren, the final lieutenant. After killing him, you will get a code to disable the final Anti-Air, butthis one is located in a highly guarded area. So,one of the towers in the Admin Center features a level called “Docking Port”, but the game will refer to it as “Barge”.
Take the elevator to the Docking Port andmake your way into the area full of cargo containers. Keep in mind that there will be too many Nine Tails enemies inside the docking port. Once you kill them all, there is a small path on top of a series of containers. You can either take that routeor use the ladder to go upand then enter the hideout behind containers.
Return To Crusader Industries' Showroom
Unfortunately, that’s not the end of the event. Now, you should either make your way to your parked ship in the Admin Center orwait for your friends to bring ships from other platforms and take you back. You simply need toreturn to the Solanki Platformanduse the shuttle to return to the showroom rooftopat Cloudview Center. Once you return, you will receive the final payment for the event.
It’s worth noting thatcompleting each objective in the event will add some money to your account, but the final payment, which could go as high as 600,000 aUEC,will only be paid once you return. If, for any reason, you die after completing the Admin Center’s part, you will still receive payment once you respawn inside Orison’s hospital.
