The Long Walk’s premise suggests that this forthcoming adaptation to the big screen will require many male actors and characters to bring to life King’s distant, dystopian world. While no actors have been officially confirmed, Hoffman and Jonsson could be playing Raymond Garraty and Peter McVriees, the two main characters from King’s book. Both actors have a fairly light resume, but their recent and past works suggest that they could be a perfect fit for their respective roles.

Jonsson started his career on the theater stage and eventually made his film debut in 2018, starring in ITV’s detective dramaEndeavor.
