The Penguin’s September release date puts it in the same release window as the first project in the new DC Universe. While James Gunn’s Superman movie reboot will only debut in 2025, the DCU will start later this year with the adult animated seriesCreature Commandos. While a specific release date has yet to be revealed, actorSean Gunn has said thatCreature Commandoswill be released in the fall, just likeThe Penguin.
Just beforeThe Penguin’s release, another animated DC series will close out the summer.
