Over his 21-year professional boxing career, Floyd Mayweather Jr. officially had50 fights, knocking out 27 opponents (a 54% clip) along the way. He sportedthe nickname “Pretty Boy"during his early days, which changed to “Money” when he got older, and eventually morphed into “TBE” (The Best Ever).
The flamboyant fighter has always been good at marketing himself, and has rightfully staked his claim as one of the premiere money-making pugilists of all time. After raking in $275 million from an “exhibition” bout with Conor McGregor in 2017, he again earned the top spot onForbes' highest-paid athlete’s list(the fourth time in seven years). In June 2021, Mayweather got in the ring for a 24-minute “fake fight” with Logan Paul andmade another $100 million. During a post-fight interview, the audacious boxer rhetorically asked if he was “the best bank robber?” The following month, Mayweather claimed he had anet worth of $1.2 billion, while other sources report it as$450 million.

Whatever the actual amount, we know Mayweather spends lots of money on cars because he posts about them endlessly on his Instagram feed. In one, he talks about needing a “Grand Theft Auto”-sized garage because he has “about 100 cars,” and its estimated that he hasspent upwards of $40 millionon them in his lifetime. However, Floyd is known for flipping cars about as fast as he gets them, so it’s hard to say what is and isn’t in his collection. Yet, there is one car that towered above the rest in terms of cost.

In 2015, Mayweather purchased one of only two Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita modelsmade by the Swedish boutique carmaker. Koenigsegg originally plannedto make three(“Trevita” means “three whites” in Swedish), but the proprietary carbon fiber weave bodies were so time-consuming and hard to make it stopped at two.Floyd claims in his Instagram postthat it’s the number two hypercar (not just a “supercar,” mind you), and the only United States spec’d and legal Trevita on the planet.
The very rare “hypercar” comes with an all-aluminum,4.8-liter dual-overhead cam V8 engine, with twin superchargers that kick out 1,018hp at 7000rpm, and 797 lb-ft of torque. With a top speed of 254mph, it goes from 0 to 62 in a blistering 2.9 seconds, and can easily dustsome of the best McLarens, Lamborghinis, or Ferraris (via Supercars.net).
For $4.8 million, it’s believed to be the most he’s ever paid for a car. We also know thatMayweather sold it in 2017, turned around, and bought himself a $20 million yacht. Because. After his controversial fight against Manny Pacquiao in 2015, he earned $150 million and bought himself a$3.5 million presentin the form of a Bugatti Veyron. But not before selling off both of his Ferrari Enzos, one of whichsold for $4.8 millionat an RM Sotheby’s auction.
It’s hard to keep track of Mayweather’s fondness and fickleness for cars, so there’s really no telling what’s currently stashed away in his 40-car “Grand Theft Auto” garage.
