Obsidian Entertainement have revealed that the first update for the upcoming The Outer Worlds will be quite hefty.

The Outer Worlds Day One Patch is 38GB for Xbox One and 18GB for PS4

The Outer Worldswill be receiving a day one patch which has been revealed to be quite large in size. In a forum post onObsidian.net, Social Media Manager known as “Shyla” has announced to the community the times for launch depending on region, and the sizes for the first update players can expect depending on their platform. This update will contain some optimisation fixes, the usual first day stuff.

Those on Xbox One will receive an update which is around 38GB while Playstation 4 players can expect a download size of around 18GB. Those who purchase the titles digitally will receive the update as part of the pre-load.

The Outer Worldswill arrive on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 25th 2019. The Switch version will arrive later which has yet to be announced exactly when.
