While a lot of iPhone users tend to be sticklers when it comes to their handset’sbatterylevel and keeping it charged up, we also see a fair share of folks who don’t seem to mind gambling on the cusp of a completely dead or just barely charged device. Can anyone say “triggered?”

BatteryFlow Rebornis a new and freejailbreak tweakdeveloped byItzNebbswith the intent of making iPhone users more actively aware of their handset’s low battery situation by continuously bombarding them with notification alerts and banners.

The concept may sound annoying at first glance, but it could mean the difference between ignoring one of iOS’ critical low power alerts and dealing with a dead iPhone later in the day. As depicted in the screenshot examples above, BatteryFlow Reborn can display alerts or banners at basically any battery percentage the user selects along with a custom message to accompany said notification.

In case the name wasn’t already a dead giveaway, BatterFlow Reborn is a modern remake of the popular BatteryFlow tweak by iOS developer Ziph0n. Citing the tweak depiction, the original BatteryFlow only supported up to iOS 9, and so it’s easy to see why ItzNebbs opted to remake this tweak for modern iterations of iOS.

Options here include:

Digging deeper, we’ll show you what you’re able to configure for both banner and alert-style notifications:

For banners, you can:

For alerts, you can:

Any time you adjust your settings or create a new alert or banner notification, you’ll need to tap on the Apply button at the top-right of the primary preference pane to save your changes. Doing so will prompt a respring of your handset.

iOS already alerts you when your battery charge creeps down to 20 and then 10 percent, so we recommend using BatteryFlow Reborn to fill in the gaps, ensuring that you receive a consistent flow of notifications reminding you to connect to a power source. Without this flow, some users may become engaged with in-app activities and forget that their handset is on the brink of dying.
