The previously exclusive Nintendo Switch title Triangle Strategy will be coming to PC on October 13th.
Triangle Strategy Heads to PC in October
Next month Triangle Strategy will get a new platform to play on. The turn-based strategy RPG will be coming to PC via Steam onOctober 13th 2022. Previously players could only enjoy the tactical game on Switch first released in March of this year, but it will be coming to PC in October.
This happened similarly to Sqeenix’s Octopath Traveler, which was also a Switch exclusive when first released, but later came to more platforms. The same goes for its newly announced sequelOctopath Traveler IIwhich will be coming to consoles and PC in 2023.
What is Triangle Strategy?
In case you missed it Triangle Strategy is an RPG with retro-styled characters but mixed in with HD backgrounds. The game sets to combine tactics with decision-making, as players use a grid-like system to attack enemies and place their characters in battle. While players will get to make a number of decisions, the Scales of Conviction will come into play for momentous decisions which means multiple characters will get to weigh in on the vote. you may position units on higher levels of ground, flank enemies, and even use elemental chain reactions such as melting icy terrains.
The game is a tacticalturn-based RPG. It mixes beautiful pixel art-styled characters with 3D effects and backgrounds. Its unique mix of retro styled characters refreshed with more modern-day features taking a similar style to Octopath but with a more strategy-based focus.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders are already available with the full price being $59.99 USD with a 10% pre-order bonus, making it $53.99 if you purchase before the release date. You can also pick up the bundle which contains the Various Daylife bonus content. This includes a bonus RPG game which combines adventure with daily life called Various Daylife released in 2019 and a digital art book showing off the artwork when the game was in development. Previously Various Daylife was released as an Apple Arcade exclusive but has now been announced to be coming to both PC and Switch.
