Back to the Future: The Game

So Back to The Future Day came and went and we aren’t in the future that was envisioned, and no those things are calling hoverboards now don’t count. If you are tired of watching the films or just feel the need to be immersed in more stories around that movie, Back to the Future might fill that itch. The Game is a side story to the films and has several tie ins to the movies. It is an adventure game that is easy to just pick up and play.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

With the Ghostbusters Reboot on its way are you wishing to have some time with the original cast? Here is the game for you. Ghostbusters the Game is an independent story from the movies and reunites the voices of Ramis, Akroyd, Murray, and Hudson. Many fans of the movies consider the game to be the closest they will get to a third movie. This game is a third person shooter where you use an assortment of the Ghostbusters tools, and you play as a rookie being trained by the veteran Ghostbusters.

Alien Isolation

Do you miss the original Alien Movies? Did Promethus just not cut it? Here is a Survival/Stealth Horror game focusing on Ripley’s Daughter Amanda. Taking place 15 years after the original Aliens movie on a space station that found Ripley’s Abandoned Craft, Amanda is sent to investigate her mother’s disappearance with a team. If you are hoping for a lot of Xenomorphs you will be disappointed, as the game features a single Xenomorph as the main antagonist. Instead, Amanda must use her smarts to avoid the Xenomorph.

If you loved the post apocalyptic movies of the 80’s and wished you could be Max from these films, then the game Mad Max gives you that very chance. In the game, you play as Max and get to drive in an open world wasteland fighting off raiders and upgrading the Magnum Opus' weapons and armor. The game is considered an action adventure, but you will be doing a lot of vehicular combat and driving. This isn’t a complaint, the game actually shines in this aspect. The story opens up in the second half of the game and it is a fun side story to the films.
