Getting a closer look at the beasts chosen for the upcoming action RPG Warhammer Chaosbane, Bigben and Eko Software highlight the monsters that made it into the title ranging over 70 different types.
Warhammer Chaosbane Latest Video Focuses on Bestiary
The Warhammer universe is quite expansive, and the same goes for the number of monsters that fans will encounter. In this latest featurette from Eko Software and Bigben Interactive, they talk about the monsters they unearthed from the universe.
Warhammer: Chaosbaneis the first action-RPG that focuses on the fantasy universe. A Diablo-inspired title where you’ll not meet strong abilities but plenty of foes to battle through. It was up to the devs to find a good balance between combat prowess andenemyabilities that fit into the world. Bigben and Eko paid close attention to the design of well-known monsters such asNurglingsthat like to swarm and use their numbers to fight you.
The video also outlines the challenges the developers face when it came to animating creatures as mainly for reference they had only the models or other games in the Warhammer universe, movement had to be imagined and not be overally similar to other Warhammer games, giving a fresh take on the number enemies you will be encounter.
