Every expansion in World of Warcraft starts with an introductory quest, scenario, or even cinematic to begin the story of the next expansion. How to Start the War Within Campaign in World of Warcraft
If you played the last season of the Dragonflight expansion, you might have seen “The Harbinger” quest that introduces the War Within expansion before it even comes out. These are the pre-patch updates before a big expansion goes live in World of Warcraft. For those players who didn’t finish The Harbinger quest and logged in to their maxed-out Dragonflight character, it might have overlapped with the War Within starting quest.
To fix this problem and start the War Within quest, youmust abandon The Harbinger quest. There are some situations where you have both the War Within quest and The Harbinger quest, but they are phasing you inside the Chamber of the Guardian in Dalaran. You should also abandon the War Within quest and take it again to fix the issue.
If you don’t have any of these issues and just want to know where to get the War Within starting quest, you canpress Shift + J to open the Adventure Guideor Journal. Look for“The War Within” log under the Suggested Content taband accept the quest from here. If you are accepting the quest and nothing is happening, you can check your quest journal and see if you have the quest already.
Logging into your level 70 character will automatically accept the War Within quest. To start your journey, you’ll get a Teleportation Scroll in your inventory upon accepting the quest. Use it, and it’ll teleport you to Silithus, where the War Within expansion will begin.
