Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceenters its third weekend in theaters today, and it has already become a bona fidebox officeblockbuster, taking in $270.5 million domestically and $720.8 million worldwide, from a $250 million budget. With that being said, it wasn’t exactly a critical darling, with a Rotten Tomatoes score currently standing at 29%. However, even many of the haters found something to enjoy in the movie, with many praisingGal Gadot’s work asWonder Woman. The actress is currently filming her stand aloneWonder Womanmovie in Italy, and in a recent interview withDigital Spy, she revealed that the movie will be quite dark, with a few moments of humor as well.
“InBatman v Superman, you get a glimpse of who she is but not where she comes from. InWonder Woman, this would be the first time we ever tell the coming-of-age story of how Diana becomesWonder Woman. It’s very interesting. It has moments of humour, but it’s pretty dark.”
