Zenless Zone Zerocelebrates its one-year anniversary with the arrival of a summer-themedVersion 2.1update: new characters, areas, stories, events, and more.
Zenless Zone Zero — New Faction and Tropical Locations Unveiled
HoYoverse has announced that Version 2.1 ofZenless Zone Zero, titled“The Impending Crash of Waves,”will be available on July 16.
This update commemorates the game’s first anniversary and delivers a summer experience packed with fresh content.
Among the main highlights are the introduction of the new faction and two brand-new areas:Sailumen Bay and the Reverie Resort. These will be accompanied by themed events and story missions.
The new version expands the main storyline withChapter 2 of Season 2, focusing on coastal mysteries and the reactivation of the now-decliningReverie Resort.Players, known asproxies, will be able to take on aquatic commissions, explore scenic boat routes, and participate in revamped fishing challenges, all within a festive and tropical atmosphere.
Two New Characters
Two new agents are joining the Zenless Zone Zero roster:Ukinami Yuzuha, an S-rank support specializing in anomalies, andAlice Thymefield, a noble S-rank swordfighter.
Both belong to theHorror Cabinfaction and bring unique skills to the battlefield. Popular characters likeHoshimi MiyabiandTsukishiro Yanagiare also returning, along with the debut of a stylish Bangboo namedMiss Esme.
Version 2.1 will also introduce new summer outfits, special events like the PvP tournament“Ehn Na! The Legend of Chess,”and enhancements to the simulated combat training system. As a thank-you for community support, players will be rewarded with 1600 Films.
Zenless Zone Zero is available onPS5, Xbox Series, PC, iOS, and Android.
