Zenless Zone Zero,the stylish free-to-play action RPG fromHoYoverse—the developers ofGenshin Impact—recently launched its Version 1.7 update, adding new content that expands on both story and gameplay.
Zenless Zone Zero Update 1.7 : Meet the New Agents: Vivian and Hugo
The update delivers the much-awaited conclusion to Season 1, finally putting an end to the mysterious Sacrifice Crisis that’s been at the back of everyone’s mind.As the story goes, two newS-Rankagents are entering the battlefield.
First isVivian,a special brawler who excels in aerial and land combat. Her special move, Feathered Bloom, is perfect for applying corruption damage—especially when paired with the rest of your team.And then there’sHugo, a frost-aligned agent who wields a shape-shifting suitcase-scythe. His ability, Terminal Effect, amplifies his damage output depending on how much stun time the target has left.
Try New Events
This update also introduces a new event called"Say It with Flowers,“where players can run their own flower shop, create their own bouquets, interact with characters in new ways, and earn rewarding fun prizes—like the A-Rank Bangboo “Curraboo.”
Coming along as well is"Bangboo Stampede,“a competitive mini-game with obstacle challenges and survival tests. Players will fight to take titles, special clips, and rewards based on ranks.Zenless Zone Zero is now out onPS5, PC, and iOS/Android, with its release on Xbox Series X|S planned this June.

1. New Characters
S-Rank Agent Vivian (Anomaly - Ether)
Vivian is a versatile Agent in Anomaly squads. She deals additional Anomaly DMG to targets suffering from Attribute Anomaly and can launch attacks while off-field to rapidly accumulate Anomaly Buildup. Vivian gains Flight Feather through certain skills. After converting Flight Feather into Guard Feather, under specific conditions, Vivian can consume 1 Guard Feather to launch one instance of Basic Attack: Featherbloom on the target, which can also be triggered while she is off-field.
S-Rank Agent Hugo (Attack - Ice)
Hugo is an Agent with a unique mechanic called Totalize. When a target enemy is Stunned, using certain skills will trigger the Totalize effect, ending the target’s Stunned state and dealing massive DMG based on the remaining Stunned duration while accumulating Daze. He can also chain ranged shots after certain skills.
※ After the Version 1.7 update, A-Rank Agent Pulchra (Stun - Physical) will be available in the “Star-Studded Cast” Stable Channel and can also be obtained through Signal Search in Exclusive Channels and W-Engine Channels.

The limited S-Rank W-Engine Flight of Fancy (Anomaly) can be obtained through the Dissonant Sonata Signal Search.
S-Rank W-Engine Myriad Eclipse (Attack)
The limited S-Rank W-Engine Myriad Eclipse (Attack) can be obtained through the subsequent Dazzling Choir Signal Search.
※ After the Version 1.7 update, A-Rank W-Engine Box Cutter (Stun) will be available in the “Star-Studded Cast” Stable Channel and can also be obtained through Signal Search in Exclusive Channels and W-Engine Channels.

Before adjustment: If any squad member triggers Assault on an enemy in the Gnawed state and causes the Flinch effect, the Flinch effect is increased by 5s, and Assault DMG has a chance to CRIT.
After adjustment: If any squad member triggers Assault on an enemy in the Gnawed state and causes the Flinch effect, the Flinch effect duration is extended by 5s. Assault DMG has a chance to trigger a critical hit against enemies in the Gnawed state.
Before adjustment: When Assault triggers a critical hit, Jane performs an additional attack on the target, dealing Physical DMG equal to 1,600% of her Anomaly Proficiency.
